Liverpool Black History Month Group (LBHMG) is pleased to offer sponsorship opportunities in conjunction with our 2007 main events. The theme for this the Bicentenary 200^th Year Anniversary of the Abolition of the Slave Trade in Britain is “Learning from the Past, Shaping the Future Together”.

The LBHMG aims to recognise, promote, and celebrate the history, cultural heritage and achievements of individuals and organisations from Liverpool’s black and racial minority communities. These communities have been present in Liverpool for over 300 years.

If your company’s goal is to support the further development of Liverpool as a truly multi-cultural city in its City Charter Celebrations (800th birthday) year alongside the special 2007 Black History Month and Bicentenary celebrations, then we invite you to take advantage of the variety of sponsorship opportunities.

Choose from these opportunities

1. The Platinum Sponsorship (£15,000)

As a Main Sponsor your organisation will benefit from:

·        Name & logo promotion associated with Liverpool Black History Month 2007, i.e. Black History Month 2007 in association with (name of sponsor) at all times the events are mentioned or advertised in all media and press coverage.

·        Name & logo link to the sponsor’s website on the official Liverpool Black History Month website (www.liverpoolblackhistory.co.uk) throughout 2007.

·        Opportunity to attend LBHMG monthly planning meetings.

·        10 Complimentary VIP Registrations/Tickets to all events in this package.

·        Welcome Cocktail Reception at an event of choice. The cost of this reception to be the responsibility of the sponsor and does not form part of the cost for the Platinum sponsorship.

2. The Gold Sponsorship (£10,000)

As a Co-Sponsor your organisation will benefit from:

·        5 Complimentary VIP Registrations/Tickets to 4 events, these being the BHM Awards, Bicentenary Dinner, BHM Closing Ceremony and BHM Women’s Conference.

·        Accreditation as Co-Sponsor in all Media and Press Coverage.

·        Half Page advert in each event’s brochure in this package.
